Although It is true that wheatgrass is beneficial for our health but it is hard to believe that it cures cancer as well. So, I started doing some research and found that wheatgrass can have an impact on cancer. It has the number of ways it deals with cancer, and those are incredible.
- Wheatgrass is the most alkaline food on the planet. Cancer does not like alkaline foods and it will shrink naturally with the help of alkaline present in it.

- Chlorophyll downregulates the signaling routes of growing cancer cells. Chlorophyll also provides the oxygen availability, that is why it is so good in dealing with cancer.
- Since the wheatgrass helps in balancing pH levels, So, maintaining optimum pH levels is essential to protect our body against cancer.
- The Abscisic acid which is among the elements of the wheatgrass can neutralize the effect of long-term gonadotropins and compounds similar to this hormone that has been found to be produced by cancer cells.
- Alkaline pH of wheatgrass, also, plays a crucial role in its anticancer approach in two ways, it helps to lessen the number of microbes in the diet which attenuates the occurrence of secondary infections to some extent in the patient, and also the cancer cells succumb in an extremely alkaline environment. In this way, wheat grass possesses the ability to alter the physiological functions of cells and hence can behave as the anticancer agent.
