Keep yourself hydrated
In summers body loses a lot of moisture, so it’s required and important to replenish the H2O regularly in the body. So, you should drink a lot of water nearly 8 to 9 glasses and liquids so as to keep your skin soft and moisturised. You should also take summer water rich foods like leafy greens, watermelon to have a higher concentration of water.
Protection from UV rays
Sun rays have an adverse effect on the skin, you should try to stay indoors in the afternoon. It’s the time when the sun rays are the strongest so exposure to sun rays can damage your skin. You should not forget to apply sunscreen 30 minutes before you go out. If you have to be in the sun for few hours then wash your face and reapply the sunscreen every 3 to 4 hours.

Exfoliate your Skin
Exfoliation is a process which removes dead skin. This should be done before applying toner, SPF, Moisturizer. You get your pores cleaned after exfoliating with scrubs or soft face brushes used with gel and cream cleansers lift.
Avoid aerated drinks
On a really hot day, People have the desire to reach out for an ice cold aerated drink so as to quench their thirst. But they should remember that these drinks are full of sugar which is not good for health. They should also reduce the intake of alcohol and caffeine. You should go for a fresh lime soda, lime water, fresh juices.
If you cannot avoid the intake of caffeine then you should double your water intake
Keep your face clean
You should keep your face clean by washing it two to three times a day. Even if it feels that the skin is clean then also you should clean it. Before going to sleep, it is a must to clean and moisturise your skin.
Exercise or yoga
Exercise is the best method by which you can get rid of toxins from your body. 20mins of yoga or 30mins of brisk walk make you feel good and stay fresh. Walking as much as you can make you feel more energetic, you will lose weight and your skin will be much healthier and fresh.
Homemade remedy for removing tan
Take 2 to 3 almonds, 1 teaspoon of lime juice and 2 teaspoons of milk; Make a paste using the above ingredients. Leave this paste on the face overnight and wash the face with lukewarm water in the morning. This removes tanning as well as provides a healthier glowing skin.
Rose water has excellent natural cooling properties so it is used as a toner in summers. Washing your face with rose water two times a day will provide you a glowing skin.
Cucumber and Watermelon juice:
Take cucumber and watermelon in equal proportion. Make a paste of the ingredients and apply on face. Keep it for 15-20 mins. You will get glowing skin.
Glycerin and rose water:
Take equal proportion of Glycerin and rose water. Apply this lotion regularly on the face at the time of sleeping. This will be helpful in removing stains and pimples.
